The Kigali Genocide Memorial is a significant and emotional place that honors the victims of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. After that, you will be taken to the trailhead, where you will meet others and begin your guided walk.

Volcanoes National Park is the Rwandan part of the large volcanic massif known as the Virunga Mountains, which spans the borders of Rwanda, Uganda, and the DRC. This massif covers a vast area of over 8,000km² and includes six active and three extinct volcanoes. There is no wildlife experience quite like seeing mountain gorillas.

You will spend a precious hour with them, watching the group play, tease each other, and eat, just like we do. After this thrilling experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch and to clean your boots.

After lunch, you will check out of the lodge and drive back to Kigali International Airport, say goodbye to your driver-guide, and check in for your outbound flight.
